Earthspring partners with relevant agencies in the criminal justice system like the police, the judiciary and the correctional services to improve the welfare of the prison inmates by providing, food, medications, cloths, provision beverages, toiletries and footwears in line with the principles of safe and humane conditions of the prisoners. It supports in the payment of fines and for bails, provision of legal representation in the courts for the indigent prisoners, promotes offender-offended reconciliation, assist in rehabilitation of the released inmates from prison to reintegrate them into the society It provides and supports the empowerment of discharged inmates through its Take them Out and Keep Them Out (TOKO) Program
Earthspring accompanies both prisoners and ex-prisoners with substance abuse and offers them treatment that will assist them recover to reintegrate into their communities.
Earthspring also assists in the hiring of the pro-bono lawyers who provide services to the poor prisoners. It promotes, provide education and educational materials for inmates willing to continue with their education as well as register for those writing their General Certificate Education (GCE and NECO) examinations, providing books and writing materials for undergraduate student in prison.
Earthspring also extends its supports systems to families who are affected by the incarceration of their bread winner by providing food, pay school fees for children, pay house rent and provide start-ups for the women left to cater for the family. It works on the policies that will promote safe and humane conditions of the prisoners as well as advocate for the decongestion of the prison custodies, acceleration of cases in courts for the pre-trial detainees and deliberate implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act by the relevant agencies of criminal justice system.
