Human Rights Advocacy

We promote, educate, sensitize and defend human rights in all its ramifications to all and sundry, especially the vulnerable, the voiceless poor and victims of injustice and the oppressed through legal advocacy and social intervention. We offer pro-bono services through a team of competent attorneys who dispassionate take up cases that outrightly deny and offend human rights of the poor as observed and universally provided for in the universal charter of human rights. We ensure that no poor person irrespective of his or her the accident of birth or economic status will be stripped of his or her rights by government or civil agencies and organizations. We also employ alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods to assuage domestic violence and communal conflicts for peaceful coexistence.


Health Care Services

Earthspring in partnership with health institutions and organizations to provide health tests, provision of drugs and care services through a team of volunteer doctors and health workers to poor communities, prisoners and IDPs to beef up the health challenges. It also creates awareness and information on preventable tropical diseases such malaria, typhoid, hepatitis, tuberculosis, measles, tetanus, yellow fever etc. Earthspring creates awareness and provides information on HIV/AIDS and reaches out to people living with HIV/AIDS, providing logistics support, identification, assess to testing and treatment and public awareness against stigmatization of victims. It also provides reproductive, maternal, new born child and adolescence information and health care services to poor communities, incarcerated mother and child as well as young people in prison. We strengthen health care institutions and caregivers, agents and logistics through advocacy and training to deliver on their core responsibilities. To the mentally unstable and those contemplating suicide, Earthspring provides psych-social counselling and guide to healing and recovery in order to reintegrate them into the mainstream of their communities.


Prisoner's welfare & Rehabilitation

Earthspring partners with relevant agencies in the criminal justice system like the police, the judiciary and the correctional services to improve the welfare of the prison inmates by providing, food, medications, cloths, provision beverages, toiletries and footwears in line with the principles of safe and humane conditions of the prisoners. It supports in the payment of fines and for bails, provision of legal representation in the courts for the indigent prisoners, promotes offender-offended reconciliation, assist in rehabilitation of the released inmates from prison to reintegrate them into the society It provides and supports the empowerment of discharged inmates through its Take them Out and Keep Them Out (TOKO) Program

Earthspring accompanies both prisoners and ex-prisoners with substance abuse and offers them treatment that will assist them recover to reintegrate into their communities.

Earthspring also assists in the hiring of the pro-bono lawyers who provide services to the poor prisoners. It promotes, provide education and educational materials for inmates willing to continue with their education as well as register for those writing their General Certificate Education (GCE and NECO) examinations, providing books and writing materials for undergraduate student in prison.

Earthspring also extends its supports systems to families who are affected by the incarceration of their bread winner by providing food, pay school fees for children, pay house rent and provide start-ups for the women left to cater for the family. It works on the policies that will promote safe and humane conditions of the prisoners as well as advocate for the decongestion of the prison custodies, acceleration of cases in courts for the pre-trial detainees and deliberate implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act by the relevant agencies of criminal justice system.



Mother & Child Protection

Earthspring is women friendly as it promotes gender sensitiveness on women issues in line with goal #5 to achieve gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls Earthspring promotes equal rights and opportunity to all women, girls and children for them to live in a violence-free and discrimination-free world It engages with government and stakeholders to advancing the course of women as it regularly raises a red flag as a voice against domestic violence, sexual abuse to girls’ child, rape and sex slavery, denial of property rights against widows’ inheritance, female genital mutilations, child labour and child marriages. The Earthspring promotes and defends the rights of girl child education as enshrined in the Child right Act 2003 in Nigeria and also carry out advocacy for the domestication of this act in all the States in Nigeria. It empowers women with economic skills, training and seed money for start-up in small scale business to roll back poverty in the family. It promotes and defends women right and access to quality reproductive maternal health care and services in areas of HIV/AIDs and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) without discrimination. It also engages with government and stakeholders on health reforms and implementation of laws and programs that will be beneficial to women as a whole. Earthspring is at the forefront of promoting women participation in decision making, resources allocation and access to health care services. Earthspring protects women rights as human rights, exposes violence against women, promotes the needs of the girl child.


Countering Trafficking in person

Earthspring is endowed with advocacy tools to collaborate with partners and agencies to sensitize and inform communities and originations on the dangers of trafficking to human persons and provide support for survivors. It organizes awareness events and community by creating clubs, town hall meetings in communities, churches, mosques and schools to collectively fight against human trafficking and enables the community to build its buffers against the traffickers. It assists NAPTIP agents in investigating and prosecuting trafficking cases through providing information and evidence on suspected trafficking activities in communities as well as offer legal assistance to the victims Earthspring as a local victim provider provide jobs, internships, skills training and other opportunities to victims of trafficking. It engages constructively stakeholders and gatekeeps on strategies to strengthen the legal framework as well implementation of its provisions to fight against human trafficking.


Environmental Protection

Earthspring is conscious of climate Change due to environmental degradation as it leverages on the gains of cultivating and promoting values, attitudes and activities that will ecosystem friendly. In line with goal #6 and other related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Earthspring takes particular attention to a habitable environment by promoting and protection environmental rights and resources like clean water and sanitation. Earthspring carries out awareness creation and advocacy on eco-friendliness on turning wastes management, reclining used materials, promoting tree planting, use of organic manure for cropping, wildlife protection and clean water source for a healthy living Earthspring places high premium on the promotion of clean environment and water source to combat common diseases like cholera, typhoid, malaria etc. Earthspring engages with gatekeepers and caregivers for reforms in the health sector for access to clean and affordable water especially for women, children and the physically challenged. It engages on building on capacity and support and organizes sanitation-related activities and programs such as water harvesting, water efficiency and waste water treatment. It promotes participation of communities in improving water and sanitation management in their local communities.


Youth Development & Enpowerment

Earthspring is youth friendly as it focuses on how to add value to the lives of young people by creating opportunities, triggering through information technology and skill development, latent potentials that will make young people self-reliant. Earthspring sensitizes youth against drug abuse, violence, thuggery, crimes such as cyber-crime, rape robbery, cultism and other anti-social activities that will not add value to their lives and their community Earthspring partners with government bodies and organizations like SMSs, BOI, BOA etc on entrepreneurial training skills that will lift them from the poverty line and provide them with daily income. It engages the youth on life building skills and prevention of HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Disease (STDs). It provides seed monies to start up their business and monitoring their progress. It enables young people to build up partnership and helping hands and co-operations for mutual assistance by providing technical assistance to support the groups. It offers psychological and counseling services to the career choices, those with mental health challenges and other psycho-social maladies and disorientation.


Ex-Inmates Training & Enpowerment
